I am an urban data scientist & professor at the National University of Singapore where I have established the NUS Urban Analytics Lab, which has been a home for dozens of enthusiastic researchers who share ambitions about making our cities smarter and more data-driven. My background is in Geomatic engineering and geospatial technologies, and I am jointly appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture (College of Design and Engineering) and the Department of Real Estate (NUS Business School). I hold a PhD degree (with highest honours, top 5%) in 3D GIS from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where I also did my MSc in Geomatics. In 2020, I have been awarded the Presidential Young Professorship by NUS.
For more updates and further information about ongoing research, please visit the website of my research group, which features the work of my awesome colleagues I am proud to work with. You can also read more about the research agenda in my recent interview. Also, below is a recent video about our work.
